Services
Four practice areas, one analytical discipline.
1. Business Strategy Consulting
We work with founders and senior leaders of small and medium-sized businesses who need a structured, independent perspective on the strategic and financial choices they face. Our engagements are typically scoped at 4 to 12 weeks and produce written deliverables that the client can act on independently.
Typical engagement areas include:
- Capital allocation reviews: where the business is investing money and whether it is producing returns commensurate with the risk.
- Expansion-decision frameworks: structured analysis of new-market, new-product, or new-segment opportunities.
- Financial-strategy reviews: working-capital efficiency, financing-structure assessment, and balance-sheet positioning.
- Operating-priority workshops: clarifying which of the many things a leadership team could do are the few they should focus on.
Engagements are priced on a fixed-fee basis once scope is agreed, with no hourly billing or open-ended invoicing.
2. Financial Education
We design and deliver structured educational programmes for professionals, founders, and learners who want to develop a rigorous understanding of capital markets, business valuation, and the analytical discipline of long-term investing — without taking shortcuts and without receiving personalised investment advice.
Current programmes include:
- Foundations of Capital Allocation — a 6-week self-paced programme covering the analytical frameworks behind how businesses, investors, and capital flow in modern markets.
- Business Valuation in Practice — a 4-week applied programme covering DCF, comparable-company, and asset-based valuation methodologies with worked examples.
- Reading Financial Statements as a Decision Tool — a 3-week introductory programme for non-finance professionals.
- Custom corporate cohorts — bespoke versions of the above for in-house teams at client organisations.
All educational content is general in nature, intended for learners worldwide. It is not personalised investment advice and does not constitute a recommendation in respect of any specific financial instrument.
3. Market and Industry Research
We produce written research on industry sectors, capital-market themes, and macroeconomic developments. Research is published as standalone reports for institutional and professional subscribers, or commissioned as bespoke work for corporate clients seeking decision-support analysis.
Recent topics covered have included:
- Capital-allocation discipline in fast-growth SME segments.
- European mid-cap consolidation trends in selected sectors.
- Long-horizon thematic developments in technology and consumer markets.
Our research products do not constitute investment advice. They are analytical content intended to inform the thinking of business leaders, professionals, and institutional readers.
4. Corporate Training
We design and deliver training programmes for organisations that want to build internal financial-analysis capability among non-finance staff, emerging leaders, and cross-functional teams. Training is delivered remotely or in client offices, structured around the client's specific operating context.
Programme formats include:
- Half-day and full-day intensive workshops on financial literacy for non-finance managers.
- Multi-session corporate programmes covering business analysis, financial reporting interpretation, and strategic finance.
- Train-the-trainer engagements for client organisations developing in-house finance-education curricula.
All training is delivered by the firm's senior practitioner directly and is built on real case studies, not theoretical material alone.
What We Do Not Do
It is important to be clear about the boundaries of our practice. NorthPath Advisory OÜ does not:
- Provide personalised investment advice on financial instruments to any client. We are not licensed under MiFID II to provide regulated investment services.
- Manage client assets or make investment decisions on behalf of clients.
- Recommend the purchase or sale of any specific security, fund, or financial instrument.
- Act as a broker, dealer, or financial intermediary in any jurisdiction.
Clients seeking personalised investment advice are encouraged to engage a regulated investment advisor licensed in their own jurisdiction. Our practice is in consulting, education, research, and training — not in regulated financial services.
